Chemistry in Action
One of the gifts Joshua got for his birthday was a collections of science experiments from Grandpa and Grandma Williams. He's been asking to do them, and I thought today would be a good time to do one. I chose the one called "Dancing Powders". It sounded exciting, but it was simply mixing citric acid and baking powder to create a chemical reaction causing lots of fizz. It was good enough for the kids, and they asked me to repeat it several times, so I did. The first one was a success, so I'm sure we'll be doing another one soon.
