Three Preschoolers One Last Time

Joshua is starting kindergarten this year, and because of that, the timing doesn't work for the girls to stay at NaturePlay, so they'll be going to a new day care.  Because of the schedule we have for the kids where they don't always go on the same days, this isn't the last day at NaturePlay for any of the kids, but it is the last day where all three of them go together on the same day.  Today is also Meghan's first day of work at Sprint, and since I'm currently unemployed, I'm dropping the kids off and picking them up.  Here they are practicing writing their names, which is the first thing they do.  They usually sit together to do it, so it was easy for me to grab a picture of all three.  Although in a sense it was a normal day, it was still significant as it was the last day that we will have all three kids in school together with none of them old enough to be in kindergarten.  We made the decision last fall to send the kids here, and we don't regret it.  They've learned a lot, and it's been especially good for Joshua.  And it's also been really great that they could all be in the same class together.

After school I had to take Joshua to his appointment.  He is starting some medication, and we are meeting with our pediatrician about it.  Because I'm a stay-at-home dad right now, if one kid has an appointment, I still need to take them all.  But it went really well, and Dr. Stuppy was nice as always and let the kids give each other check-ups when they asked to do so.
